Monkey is a unique looking pup with big brown eyes that will melt your heart. She came to us shy and scared from a rural shelter in Georgia. Since then Monkey has blossomed into a silly sweetheart, who greets you with tail wags so big that her whole butt shakes. Once Monkey is comfortable she loves to be loved and is a big kisser. She can’t get enough ear scratches and belly rubs! She happily rolls over to show you her belly when she wants some loving and will follow you around the house like a little shadow once she bonds. Monkey is very shy with strangers initially, but she warms up quickly with a little patience and some extra love. Give her some time to settle in and she’ll be licking your fingers and pawing for attention. Monkey loves other dogs and would enjoy having another dog for a playmate. Monkey is already crate trained. She is making progress on her house training and getting used to walking on a leash outside. Loud noises still frighten her, but she is making progress and trying her best to be a brave girl. Monkey may take a little more effort to get to know, but she is worth every bit of it. Don’t miss out on this ball of love and joy!
